The constant changes of a globalized business world allow for new ways of managing organizations and enterprises. In this sense, innovation is the key to the success and permanence of an organization.
For this reason, the Universidad Peruana Unión (UPeU) opened the International Diploma in Entrepreneurship and Innovation with the aim of generating entrepreneurship and innovation skills in teachers, entrepreneurs and professionals in related areas, to design innovative business models with a social focus.
The opening program was attended by the authorities of the Faculty of Business Sciences: Dr. Maritza Arana, dean; Dr. Karina Paredes, academic secretary; Pr. Carlos Castro, chaplain; Danny Alomía, director of the School of Administration; Alcides Flores, coordinator of the diploma course and Pr. Jaime Pérez, vice rector of university welfare of the UPeU.
Melina Duarte, guest speaker, was also present.
The International Diploma in Entrepreneurship and Innovation of the UPeU has outstanding national and international teachers among them: Miguel Schpeir (Argentina), Ricardo Costa Caggy (Brazil), Dante Leon (Peru), Melina Duarte (Paraguay) and George Perez (Mexico), who will teach about various topics such as Innovation Management, Agile Methodologies, Modeling of business ideas and Launching and marketing of new businesses.
As part of the group of students of the diploma course, teachers from Mexico and Bolivia will participate, as well as teachers and graduates of this house of studies in its three campuses: Lima, Juliaca and Tarapoto.
In this way, it is expected that participants can design an innovative business model using digital tools and agile methodologies.
