Universidad Peruana Unión gave a laptop to young Giesi Dionicio in order to provide him with a tool that will help him to complement his learning in his university education.
Giesi Dionicio’s dream was always to study at the Universidad Peruana Unión and this year that dream came true. Today he is part of the Union family and studies the Professional Career of Systems Engineering. For this reason, thanks to the support of the staff and graduates of this university, Giesi was given a laptop.
A team formed by Dr. Érika Acuña, director of the Professional School of Systems Engineering, and Dr. Raúl Acuña, academic vice-rector of the UPeU, traveled to the province of Chanchamayo, in the Perené district and went to the Yanesha native community in Alto Yurinaki where they visited Giesi’s home to present him with the gift.
Giesi and his parents were grateful for the support provided and also received gifts from the Unión bakery.
Dr. Érika said «Giesi is a person who needs a lot of support, and as teachers and collaborators of this school we have a commitment to accompany him and help him to fulfill his dream. May God help him and may everything that is done be conducted under God’s will.”
