On April 15th, the International Journal of Educational Studies, of which the UPeU is a member, was relaunched.
The International Journal of Educational Studies (RIEE, for its initials in Spanish) was born as an initiative within the framework of the III International Symposium on Education in 1999, between Montemorelos University, Universidad Peruana Unión (UPeU), Universidad Adventista de Chile, Universidad Adventista del Plata, Universidad Adventista de Bolivia and Corporación Universitaria Adventista de Colombia, with the support of the Seventh-day Adventist world church.
The journal’s mission is to become a permanent public outreach platform for Christian educational researchers who, through high quality research, contribute to the solution of the most felt problems among the educational community. The journal is published by Montemorelos University and is edited by Dr. Victor Andres Korniejczuk (Mexico).
Dr. Alfonso Paredes, director of the Professional School of Education at UPeU is part of the team of associate editors of the international journal. There are also editors from Chile, Mexico, Argentina and Bolivia.
RIEE is published biannually and deals with educational topics concerning methodology, didactics, philosophy of education, educational theory, educational history, educational psychology, developmental psychology, psychology of religious experience, religious education, research methodology, epistemology and education, curriculum planning, school policy and organization, and all those areas of any field of knowledge that are related to education.
It is indexed in the Latin American Network of Academic Journals in Social Sciences and Humanities (LatinREV) and in Google Scholar.
Thus, UPeU teachers and students have a high quality journal which will host their articles, discussions, reviews, and other publications. Having this journal is a privilege which we should all take advantage of.
