On April 30, the Universidad Peruana Unión (UPeU) held a Solemn Session to commemorate its 102 years of institutional life and 38 years of university life.
This activity was transmitted through virtual platforms and was attended by teachers, students, graduates and the various authorities of the UPeU and Colegio Unión, the application center of this university.
Also present were the leaders of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Peru and South America.
Among them, Pr. Stanley Arco, president of the SDA Church for South America, expressed his greetings to this house of studies and for the various actions carried out in the community, in the framework of its anniversary, with the campaign «Peru, I pray for you», «because it is time to praise and worship the name of God,» he said.
It is important to highlight that in the event Dr. Gluder Quispe, Rector of the UPeU was in charge of the special words of commemoration and gratitude for the blessings given since the beginning of this house of studies in 1919 until today.
In this way, the Universidad Peruana Unión ratifies its commitment to train professionals in a «University with principles for a gran finale» and, in each of the actions of service that its students and graduates carry out in favor of the community, today they continue to demonstrate their love for their fellow man in the campaign «Peru, I pray for you».
