The Colegio Adventista del Titicaca is an application center of the Universidad Peruana Unión Campus Juliaca which aims to train people with values based on the Bible and altruistic service while ensuring educational quality. To this end, this educational institution promotes the continuous improvement of its services through quality evaluation processes.
In compliance with this process, on May 20th, the Adventist Accrediting Association (AAA), an entity that supervises and evaluates the quality standards of Adventist institutions, visited the Colegio Adventista del Titicaca.
The AAA evaluation commission, led by Edgardo Muguerza Florián, verified virtually and in person the fulfillment of the following educational quality standards: Leadership, administration and legal aspects; information on educational needs; pedagogical aspects and human resources development; denominational aspects and community action; physical structure and equipment aspects; and financial aspects.
Finally, on May 20th, after a lot of hard work, the Colegio Adventista del Titicaca achieved institutional accreditation for a period of 5 years, from 2021 to 2026.
After the achievement, the Director of the Colegio Adventista del Titicaca, Marizol Chambi, highlighted the importance of working in an institution that demonstrates quality in its services; «This achievement is very important for the entire student population, parents and all the teaching staff of our institution. In this way we strengthen the educational quality and the confidence of all students, and they will know that their institution has the capacity to form integral people».
It is worth mentioning that an institution accredited by the AAA has the characteristics of providing an education of solid academic quality and has sufficient resources, programs and services to achieve institutional goals.
